It looks as though Theoren Fleury's comeback may have come to an end, or has it ?

The Calgary Flames have released Fleury ending his brave, yet slim attempt at a comeback.

Lets be honest, I know it's a great story line and it's insperational, but was there really much of a chance ?

Fleury is 41 years old and has had alot of things to overcome in recent years, from his substance abuse to his being booted from the NHL and the sideshow that was his time in Europe.

I hate the Shames . . . I mean the Flames as much as any respecting Oiler fan does, having said that, I have to give Theoren a huge amount of respect for his attemp at the comeback. With his passion for the game it won't be long before we see Fleury back in the NHL in another capacity, would he fit in as a member of the Sutterites, anything is possible.

Wait a second . . . that's assuming that no other NHL team decides to give him a shot . . . lol, good luck to you Theoren.
